CDR Data Pakistan - Format /sample with explanation

 

Call Data Record in Pakistan  

CDR Stands for Call Data Record. CDR is required to be obtained by Investigation Officer during investigation  of  an FIR/case. 

 

In Pakistan, a CDR data is obtained during investigation can help Investigating Officer to track the location of accused, to gather evidence against him , to arrest him, to know the history of his call record and SMS etc. This data can also be produced in court as an evidence against accused person.

 

The CDR may contain in Excel file (MS Excel software) and includes bundle of information like Call Type, Mobile Numbers, IMEI number, address from where call was made, date and time of call and duration of call in minutes or in seconds etc.

 Explanation of terms used in CDR 

In the above said format/sample,  various terms are used,  which are being explained here.

 

Sr. No.	Term	Explanation
1.	CALL_TYPE	It means the type call, whether the call was an outgoing call or income call.
2	MSISDN_ID	Mission ID is actually the Primary  Mobile Number the Call Data Record of which has been obtained. It may the mobile number of accused or any other person  which may help in collecting evidence against accused.
3.	STRT_TM	STRT_TM means the time, when call was started. In the data, the date is also showing.
4.	BNUMBER	"Bnumber is actually the secondary mobile number, from which the call was made to Primary Mobile Number or to which the call was made from Primary Mobile Number.
5.	MINS	MINS are actually the minutes  during which the conversation continued
6.	SECS	SECS are actually seconds, during which conservation continued
7.	IMEI	IMEI number is actually the IMEI number of that that Mobile Number, in which the SIM of Primary mobile number was installed.
8.	SITE_ADDRESS	SITE_ADDRESS is the address or location of primary mobile number.
