Tracking the Location of CNIC |
Usually, every person has CNIC or SNIC or NICOP or any other
identity document in his/her pocket. Any person who is of old age and mentally disable
person, may lose contact with his/her family.
If such person loses contact with his family, other members
of his family may have an idea in their mind that the lost member may be
located through his/her CNIC / SNIC lying in his/her pocket.
If you want to track or check the location of a particular
CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) using only CNIC number or any other
information, it is not possible.
Tracking location of even Smart NIC, a chip based NIC is
also not possible. Neither NADRA nor any other department, organization,
Intelligence Agency has the ability to track location of CNIC or SNIC.
CNIC does not have any chip or GPS technology
system. Though a Smart NIC though have chip but not GPS technology and same
cannot be used to locate the location of NIC. Chip actually holds the date of applicant and is
help in avoiding identity theft.
However, it is possible to track only the status of
application for CNIC or SNIC or FRC or NICOP or any other product and not their
exact location.
To know the status of an application for CNIC or any other
product of NADRA, you must have its Tracking ID, which you were provided when
you applied for such CNIC or any other
NADRA’s product.
The status of an application, tells you only the status of application only like application has been received and is in process, or card is being printed and such like other information about status. It does not mean that it will tell you the exact location of CNIC, SNIC, NICOP etc.
